Welcome, My name is Jacob

I’m Jacob, originally from New Brunswick, with a few years spent in Ontario before eventually making the move west to Calgary. I live here with my wife and our three husky/malamute mixes, Ellie, Goose, and Sunny, so life is usually some combination of dog hair, muddy paws, walks, adventures, and figuring out what the dogs want to do next.

Photography started as a hobby, but over time it became something I wanted to take more seriously. I started by photographing my own dogs more intentionally, and that shaped the kind of photographer I wanted to become. I care less about perfectly posed dogs and more about capturing personality, movement, connection, and all the little things that make them feel like themselves.
